Smoothie bowls are something new that I've seen around recently. They not only look beautiful, they also taste delicious - beauty AND functionality, now that's what I'm talkin' about! You get your veggies, your fruit and your protein all in one. Can it get any better? Why, yes, it can. It's SUPER easy to make! Below is my recipe and what I used in my smoothie bowl:
Mixed Berry Smoothie Bowl
This is where you can go all out! Do whatever you want. Use sliced almonds, coconut flakes, blueberries, kiwi, whatever your heart desires. I absolutely love and totally recommend using chia seeds as one of your toppings; it adds texture and extra nutrition. Also, the fun part is using your toppings as decorations! I just put mine in lines, but you could literally create whatever you'd like.
